International Society of Appraisers Member
Beth A. Kinstler is an accredited and certified member of the International Society of Appraisers. As a proud member of this well-respected appraisal organization, Ms. Kinstler has provided appraisals to clients in the legal and banking profession, as well as to private clients since 1997.
While anyone can hold himself or herself out as an appraiser of personal property, those who are members of the three most recognized and respected appraisal organizations, the International Society of Appraisers (ISA), the American Society of Appraisers (ASA), and the Appraisal Association of America (AAA) must pass stringent requirements before receiving accreditation or certification.
Once certified and after receiving the designation of ISA-CAPP (International Society of Appraisers-Certified Appraiser of Personal Property), all ISA appraisers must attend continuing education courses, appraise for a minimum number of hours a year, and re-certify every five years to maintain their designation. They must also be USPAP compliant. USPAP stands for Uniform Standards of Professional Appraisal Practice and ISA requires that appraisers attend the update course at least once every five years.
